Baca County is looking for a motivated person to fill the position of a Full Time employee with the County Clerk and Recorder’s Office. The position is 35 hours per week. The work hours will be Monday – Friday 08:30 – 4:30 pm with 1 hour lunch. The Full Time position is responsible for assisting the Baca County Clerk and Recorder with recording and election duties, clerk to the Board of Commissioner duties, cross-training in motor vehicle and drivers license, and other day-to-day functions of the office.
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented person with strong customer service abilities. The candidate must have good work ethics, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to critically think, and be proficient with oral and written communication. Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, Excel and Office with Google docs is a plus.
Pay is $17.00-$18.50 an hour. Benefits offered: Personal leave, sick leave and vacation leave accrual. Paid holidays adopted annually by the Board. County group health insurance, dental, vision and life insurance coverage available. County retirement match on 401A plan with optional 457 plans offered.
